History and present of bungee jumping in the Czech lands

The theses deals with the history of bungee jumping in the Czech lands and describes its current form. The aim is to characterize the development of this phenomenon in the Czech context. The area of interest is broad-spectrum and the content of the work reflects several aspects, including physiological and psychosocial aspects. It also includes a summary and analysis of published publications. All information was consulted with the founder and pioneer of Czech bungee jumping. The conclusions show that since its beginnings, bungee jumping in the Czech context has not changed significantly in its essence, it has integrated into the Czech environment, and that today it occupies its place mainly in recreology. The proposal for a sponsorship business concept for a selected extreme athlete

Title: The proposal for a sponsorship business concept for a selected extreme athlete Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to create the proposal for business cooperation for prospective sponsors of a selected extreme athlete. Methods: The thesis uses the method of in-depth interviews, electronic questioning and document analysis. In-depth interviews are done in cooperation with a selected extreme athlete for whom is the proposal created and also with his sponsors. Electronic questioning is used to map sponsoring of the extreme kayaking in the world and the respondents are world lead sponsored riders from the whole world. Secondary research, the data analyses, was made from the available primary electronic resources. Results: The result of thesis are two specific proposals from potential sponsors. The proposals were created on the basis of a detailed analysis of a selected extreme athlete whose profile and functioning of current sponsorship was illustrated by in- depth interviews with current sponsors. The questionnaires for the recent best riders were made for better orientation in field of sponsoring extreme kayaking. Freestyle BMX in the Czech Republic

Title: Freestyle BMX in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to create a comprehensive work mapping the current situation of Czech freestyle BMX scene and covering selected sections. Methods: In the descriptive-analytical part of the thesis generally theoretical scientific methods are used. Practical part of the thesis was added to supplement information sources. It consists of survey, which belongs to quantitative research and three semi-structured interviews, whose character was qualitative. Results: The result of this thesis is a complete overview of the current Czech freestyle BMX scene. It was managed to include organization, bike parks, events, education, market, successful riders and even the women category is not missing. Three interviews and a survey contributed to a comprehensive view of the situation. The result of the survey is that there are only a few women in this sport, but they have a strong support in the community. Title: Origin and historical evolution of cycling discipline freestyle BMX Objectives: The aim of thesis is to devise comprehensive and structured work, which focused on the origin and historical evolution of cycling disciplines freestyle BMX. On the basis of available resources, particularly printed publications and internet resources involved in freestyle BMX, is created by a sequence of major events in the Czech Republic and in the world, which caused the origin and historical evolution of the discipline itself. Methods: At first will be used an analysis of all available information about cycling discipline freestyle BMX. It will be also used the methods used to process historical works. Results: It was found that first appearance of BMX was in the Netherlands in 1956. The official origin in the 60s of the 20th century is associated with the area of California in the USA. BMX has its roots in motocross, from which is also derived the name of BMX. The cycling sport BMX develops to independent cycling discipline freestyle BMX a few years later. Freestyle BMX belongs to extreme sports. Historical evolution of freestyle BMX is associated mainly with the California area. Freestyle BMX was expanding in the 80s of the 20th century to the Europe. Sports marketing is divided into three sectors: marketing of a sport, marketing products and services through sports and promotion of a sport to the public. This thesis is mostly referring to marketing through sport, and its analysis of a very unique and innovative organization. Red Bull GmbH is a leader within the dynamic area of energy drinks, a fast-growing area of the beverage sector. The objectives of this thesis are to show how Red Bull develops its marketing strategy and identify the principles and processes involved, to describe the tools and techniques used in their marketing and show how they have been applied. The main goal of this thesis is to explain how effective is the association with extreme sports for Red Bull.
